Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: April 23, 2026

This policy explains how subscriptions renew, how to cancel at any time, and when refunds apply on Tomeer. It covers community membership subscriptions, one-time community creation fees, event tickets, and marketplace orders (gigs, tasks, bids).

1. Community subscriptions

A community subscription grants access to that community's private channels, events, and resources for the billing period you choose (monthly, semi-annual, or annual).

1.1 Auto-renewal

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the rate shown when you joined. You will be notified by email before an annual renewal.
  • You will not be charged if auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (Apple's standard window for App Store purchases).

1.2 How to cancel

  • In the Tomeer mobile app: Settings → Subscriptions → tap the community → Cancel Subscription. Works for both iOS (Apple IAP) and Android (Stripe) subscriptions.
  • On the web: visit /dashboard/subscription for platform subscriptions, or the community's settings page inside the community for community subscriptions.
  • On iOS you can also cancel from Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Apple's receipt email also contains a direct cancel link.
  • On Android / web you can cancel from the Stripe receipt email in one click.

1.3 What happens when you cancel

  • You keep access until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refund is issued for the unused portion of that period — but nothing will be charged for the next period.
  • You can resubscribe at any time. Prior reviews, posts, and memberships are preserved.

2. Event tickets

  • Event tickets are one-time, non-refundable purchases. The charge is final as soon as the purchase is confirmed in the app.
  • Exceptions: if the organizer cancels the event, Tomeer automatically refunds all paid tickets to their original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Exceptions: where required by local consumer protection law (e.g. the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services), refunds will be honored. Contact support@tomeerint.com within the applicable window.
  • Exceptions: an event organizer may refund individual tickets at their discretion directly from the event management page.

3. Community creation fee

  • The community creation fee is a one-time, non-refundable charge that unlocks your new community on the platform.
  • If the community fails to provision for technical reasons on our side, the fee is refunded automatically.

4. Marketplace orders (gigs, tasks, bids)

Marketplace orders are covered by Tomeer's escrow and dispute resolution process rather than this cancellation policy. See our Dispute Policy for full details on how orders can be refunded, disputed, or cancelled.

5. How to request a refund

  • Email support@tomeerint.com with your account email, order / event / community name, and a short description. We respond within 2 business days.
  • For iOS in-app purchases charged by Apple, you can also request a refund directly from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's decision on those is final.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. We'll post a notice on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be emailed to active subscribers.
