Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

At Tomeer, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what happens to your data.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through your account settings:

  1. Log in to your Tomeer account.
  2. Go to Profile Settings.
  3. Scroll to the "Delete Account" section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click "Delete My Account" and confirm your request.

Request via Email

If you cannot access your account, you can request data deletion by emailing us at privacy@tomeerint.com.

Please include the following in your email:

  • The email address associated with your Tomeer account.
  • Your full name as it appears on your profile.
  • A statement requesting the deletion of your account and data.

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon processing your request, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number, profile picture).
  • Your services, job postings, and associated media.
  • Your chat messages and conversation history.
  • Your reviews and ratings (both given and received).
  • Your notification history and preferences.
  • Social login connections (Google, Facebook, Apple).

Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained for legal, financial, or safety reasons:

  • Transaction records and payment history (required for tax and financial compliance, retained for up to 7 years).
  • Dispute records and resolutions (retained for legal compliance).
  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.

Deletion Timeline

We process data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted. During the processing period, your account will be deactivated and will not be visible to other users.

Third-Party Data

If you signed up using a social login provider (Google, Facebook, or Apple), deleting your Tomeer account does not remove your data from those services. To manage data held by third-party providers, please visit their respective privacy settings. Deleting your Tomeer account will revoke our access to your third-party login data.
